Parker, 21, attends Berklee College of Music. Sammi, 19, attends Augustana University. Bobby graduated from Augustana University, majoring in Health and Hospital Services and Business Administration. Bobby belongs to CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and the PSIA Professional Ski Instructor Association
(Level I Certification). Bobby is a past volunteer guitar instructor at CHS and he says, “I’ve always felt the mission and work of Children’s Home was as legitimate and important as any nonprofit’s work could possibly be. The kids were so appreciative of learning guitar (or drums) and occasionally they would write songs and lyrics which
were amazing.” Bobby enjoys playing music with the Crash Wagon and Lonely Rangers bands and on the worship team. He also works as a PSIA Ski Instructor at Terry Peak on Fridays during the ski season. Bobby’s hobbies include biking, canoeing, and camping—but mostly working and playing music fill his time!

She is the founder of three businesses including Dakota Video & Post, LLC, which she co-owns with her husband, Curt; Cinema Falls, an art house film collective and indie film exhibitor; and Anderson Friesen Creative, LLC a creative services, copywriting and marketing company. Julie is a Silver Medal Award recipient from the SD Advertising Federation, a former adjunct instructor of writing at Augustana University, and a Past President of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra. In Fall of 2022, she joined the Directors Emeritus of the Children’s Home Society.

Jill enjoys tenting, cooking, family gatherings, quilting, crocheting and hosting events. Jill says her perfect day involves starting a brisket/pork shoulder on the smoker at about 11:00 pm, smoking it all night, then having 25–35 family members over to play games, socializing, and eating a home cooked meal.
